Birdie Opps Percent is a statistic that shows the percent of holes in an included report that had the opportunity to score a birdie (1 under par). A hole is considered to have a birdie opportunity when it has made GIR (green in regulation) and the distance to the hole at the start of the first putt is 16 feet or less. This stat is calculated by dividing the number of holes with a birdie opportunity by the total number of holes included in the report.
