Birdie Opps Per Round is a statistic that shows the average number of opportunities (holes) a player had to score a birdie (1 under par) per round. A hole is counted as a birdie opportunity when that hole made GIR (green in regulation) and the distance to the hole at the begging of the first putt is 16 feet or less. This stat is calculated by counting all the holes where a birdie opportunity exist and dividing it by the number of rounds included in the report.
