Performance DNA is a set of statistics that shows where a player is gaining the most strokes.
Performance DNA is broken down by shot type (Driving, Approach, Scrambling and Putting) and also includes Scoring Average that is the sum of the shot type values.
Performance DNA values are best when low - so negative numbers indicate good performance while positive numbers show areas that need improvement.
The Performance DNA statistics are a good place to start when trying identify the areas of a players game that need the most improvement, but it will not show exactly what a player should work on the reduce their overall scores on its own. For further information on how to improve performance, see the corresponding reports in the Reports and Analysis section to the shot type identified by the Performance DNA as needing improvement.
